HISTORIC ABSTRACT

Historic Abstract officially incorporated as Historic Financial, Inc. in January 1998.  However, Historic Abstract and its founder, Lawrence Dalsemer, has been a title insurance agency since 1994.  Larry is a proud Penn State Business School graduate and Temple Law School graduate.  He is admitted to the Pennsylvania and New Jersey Law Bars, and focuses his legal practice in the real estate fields.  As such, title insurance has been an interest of his since he was a Real Estate Broker in the 1980s.  Historic Abstract is licensed as a Title Insurance Agency for both Pennsylvania and New Jersey, and has allegiances with other title companies to coordinate transactions involving other states.

Historic Abstract began in Philadelphia, 18th and JFK Blvd.  In 1998, it moved to Blue Bell, and in 2009, moved to Main Street in Ambler. Ambler provides great access to the entire Philadelphia region, not only by its proximity to the local Highways such as the Pennsylvania Turnpike, but also the Blue Route (Rte 476) and Route 309.  Just a mile from Fort Washington and three miles from Blue Bell, Montgomeryville and Upper Dublin, Ambler has become a great home to Historic Abstract.  The Lansdale Doylestown train to and from Center City stops a block from the office.
